Distributed Systems

This course teaches the abstractions, design and implementation techniques that enable the building of fast, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems. Topics include synchronization, network programming, consistency, fault tolerance, consensus, security, distributed storage systems, and MapReduce. Prerequisites: CP213. Co-requisites: CP372, CP386.
